After all players have played, the dealer opens his second playing card, and then starts taking more playing cards until he gets 17 or more, then stop.

As soon as the dealer stops, the cards of every player that does not have the excess are compared with the dealer's cards. Depending on the comparison, it is considered a win, a tie, or a loss, and the insurance is paid out, if any.

Peculiar Cases

A gambler should make a bet if he is sitting at the table. If the gambler is not participating, i.e. not making any bet, he automatically leaves the table and becomes a watcher.

The better is given a limited time to act. If the better does not start acting during that time, it is considered as a "connection failure": the player leaves the table and the wager comes back to the better's account.
