In BlackJack, a standard table with four player places is used. Each table in Black Jack has its name and its uttermost and smallest wager limit. A big deck of four 52 playing card decks is used at the table.

The wagerer is getting cards from the dealer, trying to collect the score as close to 21 as possible, without surpassing. If the gambler has 21 in two cards after dealing, it means he has Black Jack. The BlackJack combination is ranked higher than simple 21.

At the beginning of every casino game, the dealer mixes the deck and suggests the players at the table to make the first bet.

The better considers his cards and the dealer's opened playing card, and chooses an action:

"Hit" - the dealer gives one more card to the better

"Stand" - the gambler finishes gambling and waits for the dealer to have played with all other wagerers

"Double" - the player doubles the initial bet which is only possible if the wagerer has only two playing cards. The wagerer is given one card and stops.

"Split" - allows to split the better's cards into two hands. One more bet for the second hand is made. An extra playing card is given to every hand, and the player starts gambling with each hand separately.

"Insurance" - insurance is available if the first dealer's opened card is "Ace" and the dealer is likely to be having "BlackJack". The better makes a special bet worth a half of the initial wager, and then the dealer's cards are checked. If the dealer is having BlackJack, the casino game is over, and the better is paid the insurance. Otherwise the game continues.

The hand is stopped playing with as soon as:

• the player is having Black Jack
• the gambler has stopped (Stand or Double)
• the player busts, i.e. the score exceeds 21, so the better loses his wager

Then the dealer moves to the next wagerer, until all players at the table have played with their playing cards.

After all participants have played, the dealer opens his second playing card, and then starts taking more playing cards until he gets 17 or more, then stop.

As soon as the dealer stops, the playing cards of every wagerer that does not have the excess are compared with the dealer's playing cards. Depending on the comparison, it is considered a win, a tie, or a loss, and the insurance is paid out, if any.

Peculiar Cases

A wagerer should make a bet if he is sitting at the table. If the better is not participating, i.e. not making any wager, he automatically leaves the table and becomes a watcher.

The gambler is given a limited time to act. If the player does not start acting during that time, it is actually as a "connection failure": the player leaves the table and the bet comes back to the gambler's account.
