The blackjack Game 

In blackjack, each player plays only against the dealer (i.e. the bank), independently of other players. Your goal as the player is to draw cards (i.e. "hit") until your hand adds up to 21, or comes as close as possible without exceeding 21. If your first two cards total 21, you have blackjack.

How to Play blackjack

If your total score is closer to 21 than dealer's, you win and your gain is equal to the bet. If you have blackjack, your gain is 3/2 of the bet, if the dealer does not have blackjack.
If your total score is more than 21, you bust and lose your bet. If the dealer and you have the same total score, no one wins and the bet is returned ("Push").

blackjack has its special feature:

• The cards are mixed after each game.
• If the dealer's first card is an Ace and the player has taken Insurance, dealer's cards are always checked for blackjack.
• The player can split on pair cards, except 10 cards, or face cards, or a face card and a 10.
• The player can split once.
• The player can double after splitting, except Aces.

   

  Bets

  To place a bet, select and click a chip with you left mouse button. To reset a bet, click Clear.

  Button Description

  Split

  If two first cards are equal, you may split them into two hands. In this case you place another bet, and one more card for each hand is dealt. The game continues separately for each hand. If you split two Aces, you are given one more card on each hand and the cards are compared. Besides, if you have 21 in one of your hands, it is not considered blackjack.

  Double

  If you have two cards and you are sure the next card will make you win, you can double your bet. In this case you are only given one card and the cards are compared.

  Insurance

  If the dealer's opened card is Ace, you are able to get insurance against the dealer's having blackjack. The insurance amount is a half of the bet. In this case if the dealer has blackjack, the cards are opened and you are paid a compensation which is two times as big as the insurance. If the dealer does not have blackjack, you lose your insurance and go on playing. If both you and the dealer have blackjack, it is considered push and the insurance is returned.

  Dealer's Charges

  The dealer must get more cards if he has less than 17, but he may stop at 17 or above. For example if the dealer has 16 and the player did not get too much, the dealer must get another card.
